Our Booking Policies


TERMS OF USE

Check out below for all the information you’ll need to know about booking policies and terms of use

Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • A contract between you and the owner will come into existence when the deposit or full payment is received, and a booking confirmation is issued showing the confirmed moneys, contract agreement and/or parts for the job
  • Any/all deposit payments must be paid within 3-7days of the booking being placed.

  • The contract binds you (the customer) & all the members of the party who are part of the booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms & conditions. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract & loss of the booking or completion of the project
  • We require the names, ages, and contact details of specific jobs in order for legal/insurance and/or safety regulations
  • We offer a 50% deposit payment of the total project,  this cost is payable at the time of booking or within 3-7 days to fully confirm your project booked into our job allocation list. Without payment within these timeframes, we cannot confirm we can start any/all workloads on the time you’ve requested.
  • Bookings that are paid in full upfront will be instantly placed onto our priority job list and dates for the project set in stone over customers who haven’t paid in full (subject clients date changes)
  • The balance must be paid no later than sixty days before the commencement of your projects work. If the balance is not received by the due date, then your booking will be treated as a cancellation and legal action could be taken for any/all loss of our company’s time, money and materials.
  • All cancellations must be notified in writing and/or via email and once received we will confirm the cancellation. You cannot cancel a job 48 hours before the due date if materials have been purchased for the job or the customer is liable for the costs of those materials in full
  • The customer remains liable for a percentage of the booking cost when a cancellation is received

30 to 44 days  – 50% of the booking cost
15 to 29 days  – 75% of the booking cost
3 to 14 days  – 90% of the booking cost
0 to 2 days  – 100% of the booking cost


  • We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.

  • If your booking is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we MAY promptly refund all payments made to us for your project. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.

  • Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under eighteen years of age due to legal requirements and liability insurance purposes
  • Jack the business owner reserves the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.

  • We or our representatives reserve the right to enter the projects location within reasonable hours to undertake essential maintenance, repairs or for inspection purposes.

  • You must not use the our services except for the purpose of what was agreed mutually between us and the business owner
  • Damages and breakages – We treat the facilities & accommodations of all projects with due care so that our clients/customers may continue to enjoy them. If you notice something is missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there has been any damage or breakages during our stay, we would be grateful if you could report them promptly, especially before check-out for the day of us working onsite.
  • If damage occurs from the owner and is found to be false allegations towards our company breaking any/all items, we reserve the right to cancel the project immediately and could take legal action if we’re at a loss with the evidence found.  
  • Please do not move any of our tools or workmen’s tools and/or personal property without their or our consent.
  • Please lock the doors and close the windows when we leave the property unoccupied for breaks or and when we leave site everyday as we will not be liable for any loss if you do not whilst we are not onsite.
  • Please make sure you switch off lights, heating, air conditioning or any electrical appliances when we leave the site  – we’re an eco-friendly company and try our best to do this ourselves but we cannot always be accountable for switching everything off at your address for numerous personal or privacy reasons.
  • The business owner reserves the right to make a charge to cover additional damage costs if the client/customer damages any of our tools or workman’s items – this includes our company men’s personal items that are taken onsite.
  • Please note that if any keys issued to us to come on site, they will returned as and when you request them to be. If any keys are lost that we do not store securely we are NOT liable for the cost of replacement, this will be charged to you and you alone.
  • All inventory Prestige carpentry and joinery pay for upfront before the customer clears the balance owed must remain in the property and not be taken to another property or site. 

  • You (as the client/customer) are responsible for the supervision of all members of your party under the age of 18 at all times.

  • Please park your vehicles in the designated parking space, ensuring cars do not block access to other properties so we have access to the areas we need to work.
  • We reserve the right to terminate your contract agreement or project booking with immediate effect where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others. We believe in fair rights for everyone not just one side and our staff work hard on every project, and thus should be treated in a fair humanly manner.
  • If you want to use the services of a third-party supplier (e.g. sub contractor or plumber for example) this must be agreed beforehand if it’s linked to the job we’re doing for you. If you bring a third-party supplier without consent, we reserve the right to ask them to leave. We do not accept liability for the activities of these third-party suppliers and the damage caused by them.
  • Any problem or complaint must be immediately reported directly to us/our representatives to allow us the opportunity to resolve it.

  • Non-compliance with the our rules will be considered as a breach of the terms and conditions of the project agreement. We reserve the right to terminate the booking with immediate effect and without a refund if customers/clients and subcontractors working alongside us on the same project do not abide by the rules.

  • This property is privately owned and is our home. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would with their own home.
